Charles Macon Logan, Jr. passed away on September 11, 2018 at the age of 93 in Tallahassee, FL. He was born in Bonifay, FL on October 12, 1924 to Charles Macon Logan Sr. and Willie Vera Dowling Logan. He is an Army veteran and served in WWII. He attended FSU and worked for the FL Department of Agriculture for over 40 years. Charles was a dedicated member of Trinity United Methodist Church, Reynolds Chapel United Methodist Church in Donalsonville, Shriners, Freemasons, and Tallahassee Lions Club. He loved and is loved by his family as a devoted husband, father, and grandfather.

He was preceded in death by his first wife (the mother of his children) Gloria Newsom Logan; daughters Karen Logan, Nanette Logan; son Stephen C. Logan; sisters Marion Hunt (Bernard), Mildred Johnson (Bill); brother James Clarence Logan.

Charles is survived by his wife Christine W. Logan; grandson Stephen A. Logan (Rae'Chel); sister-in-law Hilda Logan (late husband James Clarence Logan), Clara Estes (Ray), and several nephews and nieces.

The family received guests on Friday, September 14, 2018 at 1:00 p.m. at Bevis Funeral Home of Tallahassee (200 John Knox Rd) with a funeral service following at 2:00 p.m. in the Bevis Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will be at Oakland Cemetery in Tallahassee following the service. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Charles' name may be made to Covenant Hospice, , Tallahassee Lions Club, or any . Breanna Green of Bevis Funeral Home (850-385-2193 is assisting the family with their arrangements.
