Samuel Ray Hadas, 79, of Bonifay, Florida, passed away Sunday, October 7, 2018 at the University of Alabama Birmingham Hospital in Birmingham, Alabama. He was bon May 11, 1939 in Ann Arbor Michigan to Stephen C. Hadas and Nathalie A. Hadas. He was retired from the U.S. Navy and the Naval Civil Service.

Mr. Hadas was preceded in death by his parents, a brother and sister in infancy, his step-father, Howard Shock,, one sister, Linda Rowe, brother-in-law, Barry Rowe, two sons, Jerry Dean Hadas and James Robert Hadas, one grand son, Samuel John Paul Hadas and one granddaughter Tarra Wachacha

Mr. Hadas is survived by his wife, Janet Cormack Hadas of Bonifay, Florida, two sons, Samuel R Hadas Jr. (Christine) of Ewing, New Jersey, Paul W. Hadas (Thala) of Fort Dodge, Iowa and Bonifay, Florida, two daughters, Kimberly Kreczmer (James) of Jacksonville, Florida and Dana Gallagher of Sylva, North Carolina, one brother, David C. Hadas (Lori) of Orlando, Florida and numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

Memorialization was by cremation with W.E. Lusian Funeral Home of, Birmingham, Alabama in charge of arrangements. A celebration of life will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday, November 18 at the home.
