Mr. Thomas Edward Green, age 95, passed away Tuesday, December 18, 2018. He was born on October 4, 1923 in Sterling, West Virginia to James Edgar Green and Carrie Lynn Foster Green. Mr. Green was a resident of Ponce De Leon, Florida. He was a veteran of World War II, Korean Conflict, and the Vietnam Era, serving his country in the United States Air Force with over 30 years of service before retiring. He was a devoted husband, father, and grandfather. He also enjoyed fishing.
Mr. Green was preceded in death by his father and mother; his wife of 52 years, Alice Green; three brothers, Charles Green, Darrel Green, and George Wilmer Green.
Mr. Green is survived by two sons, Richard E. Green and wife Grace and James H. Green and wife Dawn; one daughter, Patrica Ann Wilson all of Ponce De Leon, Florida; one brother, Louis Green of West Virginia; two sisters, Naomi Jean Muller of Washington and Lahoma Chapman of Brooksville, Florida; he is survived by six grandchildren and eight great grandchildren.
A time of visitation was held from 1:00-2:00 PM on Saturday, December 22, 2018 at Clary-Glenn Funeral Home Chapel, 230 Park Avenue, DeFuniak Springs, Florida 32435. Funeral services were held at 2:00 PM, Saturday, December 22, 2018 at Clary-Glenn Funeral Home Chapel, with Reverend Richard Murrey Sr. officiating. Flowers are being accepted.
