Wanda Bishop Paulk, 64, of Westville, FL, left her home Saturday morning Jan 20th, 2018, to be with her Lord. She was born in DeFuniak Springs, FL to the late Wilmer & Ouida Bishop. Wanda was a 1971 graduate of Ponce de Leon High school where she received a Betty Crocker award and was named Homemaker of Tomorrow. She studied at Chipola College and received her Bachelor's Degree in Education from Florida State University. Wanda taught home economics at Poplar Springs High School for 5 years and retired after 31 years of teaching special education at Ponce de Leon High School. She is described by her family and friends as a prayer warrior, dedicated teacher, and to many others a second Mother. Wanda had an unwavering faith in God and was a devout member of the Church. She was best known for putting others needs above her own, finding joy in serving others, and her passion for cooking in which she baked love into every dish.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Wilmer & Ouida Bishop & Margaret Bishop (Step-Mother) .

She leaves behind a loving husband of 44 years, Roy Lamar Paulk, Westville, FL; three sons, Richard Lamar & Kelli, Ray City, GA, Kevin Gerald & Ashley, Hartford, AL, & Larry Wayne & Becky, Chipley, FL; 1 adopted family, Scott and Becki Toole; 8 grandchildren, Isaiah, Grace, Matthew, Mitchell, Sydney, Sara, Eli and Emmy; two brothers, Charles Wayne & Angie Bishop, James Wendell & Betty Bishop, and several nieces and nephews.

A time of visitation was held Wednesday, January 24, 2018 from 6:00 to 8:00 P.M. in the chapel of Davis-Watkins Funeral Home, 1474 Highway 83 North, DeFuniak Springs, Florida 32433. Funeral services were held Thursday, January 25, 2018 beginning at 10:00 A.M. at Davis-Watkins. Committal services followed at Reedy Assembly of God Church Cemetery in Westville Florida. Arrangements and services are under the direction of Davis-Watkins Funeral Home and Crematory of DeFuniak Springs, Florida.
