Thomas Albert Davis
Scranton - Thomas Albert Davis was born in Scranton PA, passed away peacefully at home in Dothan Alabama a temporary home after the house in Bonifay flooded in September 16, 2020. At the age of 86 on December 17, 2020, Thomas Albert Davis passed away with his wife Sofia and children by his side.
Tom was raised in Pennsylvania, as an adult and with his ex-wife (Roseann Fives Davis of 14 years 1959-1972) moved to New Jersey where he raised his five children.
In 2004 he retired to Bonifay, Florida with his beloved wife Sofia for 23 years (1997-2020), which was his primary residence for the last 16 years. Living are his 4 children, Ronald Davis (wife Peggy), Michelle Davis Rosenkoff (husband Alan) Jeanmarie Davis Wallace (fiancé Stan) and Lynn Davis Longo. Sofia's sons, Danny Bernabe (wife Brenna) and Rhoss L. Bueno (wife Tara).
Living are his sisters Elaine Marek, Peggy Collins and brother David Davis. Tom had 19 grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren, several nephews and nieces.
He was predeceased by his son Thomas Davis, his parents, Margaret and Thomas Davis, brothers James, John, and Ronald Davis and sister Nancy Valunas.
Thomas Albert Davis has many accomplishments throughout his life span. He was chosen by the Board of Directors Members as a Vice President of Bonifay Guild for the Arts, Inc a nonprofit 501 C3 organization with 89 paying members he and his wife Sofia developed in 2004. Thomas A. Davis was always Sofia's confidante and adviser when it comes to Sofia's pursuant and accomplishments of higher education as a Doctor of Philosophy in Human Services that includes Danny (son) as a Medical Doctor.
Always referred to as Tom, he loved music, singing, dancing and riding motorcycle, and visiting art galleries. He was always the entrepreneur, having several businesses throughout his life, including a printing business, clothing business, trucking company, limousine business, and his most loved real estate career. Him and his wife enjoyed their Bonifay Guild Art Gallery. He enjoyed fine art painting, ceramics, meditating and taking a walk with his wife Sofia in his beloved 12 acres. He was very much loved by his family and friends for his kindness good spirited nature. Thomas Albert Davis will be missed by all.
