Henry Richard Leavins
Mr. Henry Richard Leavins, age 67, of Bonifay, Florida passed away February 15, 2021. Henry was the owner and operator of Leavins Junkyard just south of Bonifay in Washington County. He was born August 18, 1953 in Bonifay, Florida to the late Richard and Katie Rebecca Hall Leavins. In addition to his parents, Henry was preceded in death by seven siblings, Hoover Leavins, Hannie Mae Davis, William 'Bill' Leavins, Ernest 'Buck' Leavins, Bobby Lee Leavins, Margie Sapp, and Elson Wilson Leavins, Jr.
Henry is survived by his best friend and partner in life of 42 years, Debbie Yates of Bonifay, FL; one son, B.J. Leavins of Bonifay, FL; one daughter, Kelly Leavins Taunton and husband Bobby of Bonifay, FL; six grandchildren, Kelcei Lynn 'The Little Gurl' Taunton, Kole Taunton, Raven Leavins, Levi Leavins, Hunter Taunton, Caitlyn Taunton; one great-grandchild, Brynleigh Price; four siblings, Ernestine Baker of Chipley, FL, Hazel Ann Faust of Mobile, AL, Edna Ruth Anderson of Chipley, FL and Charles 'Jack' Leavins of Tacoma, WA; numerous nieces and nephews and extended JUNKYARD FAMILY.
Memorialization will be by cremation with a memorial service scheduled at a later date. Peel Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
