Dennis Allen Woodham, 59 of Panama City passed away January 25, 2019 in Jacksonville, FL. Dennis was born June 30, 1959 at Tyndall Air Force Base to Kenneth and Betty (Pitts) Woodham. Dennis grew up in Chipley and is a 1978 graduate of Chipley High School, where he excelled in football and softball. Dennis enjoyed hunting, fishing and boating. He was also an avid FSU football fan and loved riding his motorcycle. Dennis retired a Staff Sergeant from the United States Air Force in 1998 after twenty years of service during which he was involved with the Jamestown Humanitarian mission, Operation Just Cause and Desert Storm. During his service, Dennis played football with the USAFE football team in Ramstein, Germany. Dennis' Air Force service also took him to Dover AFB, Delaware, Pope AFB, North Carolina, Incirlik AFB, Turkey and Tyndall Air Force Base where he retired, he worked for another 18 years at Tyndall as a contractor.

Dennis is preceded by his mother and father, and brother Ronald Woodham.

Dennis is survived by his wife of 40 years, Wanda who resides in Panama City; his daughter, Katherine Woodham of Panama City; his siblings, Donald (Ellen) Woodham and Donna (Don) Hampton all of DeFuniak Springs and numerous nieces and nephews.

A Celebration of Life service will be held 11 am Saturday, February 16, 2019 at the Forest Park United Methodist Church in Panama City. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to either the Mayo Clinic at https://philanthropy.mayoclinic.org/donateMC or to Community Hospice & Palliative Care Foundation, 4266 Sunbeam Road, Jacksonville, FL 32257, online at www.communityhospice.com/give.". Kent-Forest Lawn Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.
