Thomas Rudolph King, age 84, of Westville, Florida (Prosperity Community) passed away Sunday, May 17, 2020, in Crestview, Florida. "Tom", as he was known by family and friends, was born April 2, 1936, to the late William Thomas and Jessie Elnora Miller King. He was a 1954 graduate of Ponce de Leon High School. Following high school, he served in the United States Navy aboard the destroyer, USS Lofberg. Tom was a Mason, belonging to Lodge 202, in New Hope, Florida.

He is survived by his four children, Yvonne Self, Thomas Rudolph King, Jr., Paula Rena King Pacotti and husband Sheldon, and Michael Franklin King; two step-children, Mark and Lydia Self; seven grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; one brother, James E. "Eddie" King and wife Bula of Westville, Florida; and one sister, Gencie Pauline Hinson of Jacksonville, Florida.

A graveside service was held Tuesday, May 19, 2020, in the New Ponce de Leon Cemetery, located on North Highway 81, Ponce de Leon, Florida beginning at 3:30 p.m. with Minister Joel Davis officiating. Memories and condolences may be shared with the family at Arrangements and services are under the direction of Davis-Watkins Funeral Home and Crematory of DeFuniak Springs, Florida.
