Wanda Hart Hinson, age 79, passed away peacefully from this life on Saturday, June 6th, 2020 surrounded by the love and comfort of her family and friends. She was born on February 12th, 1941 to John Henry and Dora Whitton Hart and was the youngest of 12 children.

She was valedictorian and a 1959 graduate of Ponce De Leon High School. Her diligence continued throughout her career working for Southern Bell before retiring from AT&T in 1991.

Wanda expressed her passion for life through the simple pleasures; watering her flowers, reading romance novels, chatting and drinking tea on the porch with loved ones, cooking delicious meals, giving back to her community, and sharing her love for Christ.

Wanda was a devout member of the First Baptist Church in Chipley, where she formed many friends of faith whom she loved and cared for deeply.

She is survived by her loving husband of over 41 years, Marty O. Hinson; two sons, Clifton Gilmore (Kris), and Clinton Gilmore (Kim); one daughter, Regina Gilmore Haskin (Ken); eight grandchildren, Tom, Brian, Carolyn, Adam, Slayton, Lauren, Rachel, and Langston; four great grandchildren, Ava, Eli, Riley, and Nora; one surviving sister, Queva Camp; and her loving cousin, Ann Bush.
